What can one say to adequately describe this vile excuse of a restaurant? Well, if you're up in the middle of the night and desperate for things to fill your aching belly that only slightly resemble real food, and there's nothing else open, then Carrows is your one-way ticket to gastronomic something-or-other. I've given Carrows quite a few chances to redeem itself from my first disastrous visit, and they've never been able to make good. This place gives me indigestion. And it's not a very clean place either; there's plenty of dirty tables and floors, and sticky booths upon which to sit, at any hour of the day or night. Still, it's the only place open 24/7 in South Pasadena, so I suppose that works for late nighters despite its lack of quality and cleanliness.
