The Barkley

The Barkley has been around for ages. With its brick and wood theme, The Barkley is the brain child of former radio jock Roger Barkley (KABC, etc.). Lotsa locals gather at its bar for drinks and televised sports.

Now, I can't comment on its dinners, as I've only been there for lunch. But they have an adequate selection of sandwiches, some a bit heavy on the salt. A bit pricey as well. But if you love decent food in retro booths, this is a great place. The waitresses are all old school and call you "Honey", if you like that kind of informality.
